PREHEAT your oven to 375°F (190°C).
ROLL OUT the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
PLACE a spoonful of cherry pie filling at the wider end of each triangle.
ROLL UP each triangle, starting from the wider end and rolling towards the point.
MIX the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
SPRINKLE the sugar-cinnamon mixture over the rolled-up dough.
BAKE for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
LET COOL for a few minutes and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
