Cod steak on a bed of leeks and mushrooms

Use the same pan to melt a little butter and cook the leeks until tender. Then add the white wine and let reduce slightly.
Combine the mushrooms, bacon and leeks, then simmer for 20 minutes.

Place the cod steaks on the mixture and bake for 20 minutes.
