Easy Salad That Burns Belly Fat

Prepare vegetables and fruit by washing them thoroughly. Julienne or thinly slice cabbage, carrot, cucumber and apple. Thinly slice red onion.

In a large salad bowl, combine shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, cucumber, apple and red onion slices. Toss lightly.

To make vinaigrette, in a separate bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, honey and mustard until well combined. Add salt and a pinch of cane sugar to taste, adjusting seasoning to your preference.

Pour vinaigrette over salad mix and toss until all ingredients are well coated with vinaigrette.

Let salad sit for 5 to 10 minutes to allow flavors to blend. You can also refrigerate for half an hour before serving to enhance flavor.

Serve the fresh salad as a side dish or as a light main course.
