Step 1: Prepare the Crust
Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan to ensure easy removal of the cheesecake later.
Mix the Ingredients: In a medium-sized bowl, combine 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs with 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Stir in 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter until the mixture is well combined and the texture resembles wet sand.
